Description
Reachy Mini is a compact, expressive, fully autonomous open-source robot designed to bring real-world AI and human-robot interaction to your desk. The Reachy Mini comes with an onboard computer (a Raspberry Pi 4), wireless connectivity and a rechargeable battery, enabling it to operate untethered and run applications directly on the robot itself. At approximately 30 cm (12 in) tall, this DIY-assembly robot packs advanced hardware into a compact form factor, perfect for developers, educators, researchers, and hobbyists.
It features motorized 3-degree-of-freedom head movement, +/- 160° body rotation, and animated antennas to deliver rich, lifelike expressions. The sensory suite includes a wide-angle camera for vision tasks, a microphone array and a 5 W speaker for audio interaction, and an accelerometer for motion sensing.
With built-in Wi-Fi, Reachy Mini can connect to your network for remote access and updates. Programmers can build custom behaviours using its Python SDK and leverage the Hugging Face ecosystem to integrate thousands of AI models — from computer vision to natural language — directly into robotic applications.
